Mission Statement :

CSSA at HMS is a non-profit, non-political club registered at Harvard Medical School, which provides support and services for the people originated from China who are studying and working at Harvard Medical School and all of the affiliated institutes and hospitals. The core values of CSSA at HMS are dedicated to making contributions towards the prosperity of our motherland as well as the local community. We also aim to create a platform for networking, cooperation, and career development among our members, hence serving as a bridge for interculture communication between China and US.

The aim of the club includes, but is not limited to the following:

1. To assist, support, promote, and advocate a better networking among Chinese scholars and scientists;

2. To assist and support newcomers in becoming acclimated to Boston;

3. To promote cultural exchange, diversity, and enrichment among Chinese, Americans and other cultures in the world;

4. To assist, support, and enhance communications between academia and industry in order to foster career development;

5. To assist, support, and strengthen collaborations between China and the US in order to achieve better scientific intercommunication.
