Fudan School of Life Science recruiting at Longwood campus

A summary of Professor Hong Ma's visit at HMS on 02/18/2010:

Upon the invitation of HMS CSSA, Professor Hong Ma, dean of the school of life science at Fudan University, visited HMS on February 18, 2010. Professor Ma gave an very informative talk about biomedical research as well as career development opportunities at Fudan University. More than 50 people attended the event and there were active interactions between the speaker and audience. Furthermore, twelve people submitted their CVs in advance for consideration of potential positions at Fudan University. Individual meeting between Professor Ma and these candidates were arranged. In addition, two candidates submitted their CVs at the end of the seminar. As the organizer, we, HMS-CSSA, wish that more candidates will become faculties at Fudan University in the coming years and will do our best to help our members in their career development in US as well as in China.

As one of series of our career development seminars and recruiting events, we have invited Fudan School of Life Science to our Longwood campus to provide a comprehensive overview of Fudan's recent recruiting polices and schedules. The dean of school of Life Science, Prof. Ma Hong will pay a visit to us and interview preselected candidates. He will give an short talk about recruiting from 1:00 pm to 2:00pm and answer any related questions there. From 2:00 pm -3:00 pm he will provide a short one to one talk to the candidates.

For those who are interested in applying Fudan's position, please email your CV to cssa@hms-cssa.org by Feb. 15, 11:59 pm. We will forward all of the material we collect to him and have Dr. Ma Hong make the decision who he will do the one-to-one talk.
