Dear All,

We will have our cancer/stem cell group discussion on February 22nd (Tuesday). Our speaker is Dr. Ding (Jeff) Zhihu from Ron Depinho' s lab at DFCI. Dr. Ding has been in DFCI for 7 years and he is now an instructor in medicine. He got excellent publications: 28 in total (12 first-authored). He just published a paper in Nature this month: "SMAD4-dependent barrier constrains prostate cancer growth and metastatic progression". It is going to be a great opportunity to know more about his research.

The topic of his talk will be: Preclinical mouse modeling and comparative oncogenomics of prostate cancer.
