Dear All,
Neuroscience subgroup of Longwood Scientific Salon (LSS) will have a group
discussion on "How mitochondria move and why a neurobiologist cares". The
invited speaker is Dr. Xinnan Wang from Schwarz's laboratory in Children's
Hospital Boston. Dr. Wang obtained her PhD in University of Cambridge in
UK and now is a postdoctoral fellow in Children's Hospital. She has a very
impressive CV, publishing first-author papers in Cell and Nature
Neuroscience as well as holding NIH K99 award. She has also gone through a
lot of job interviews recently. Therefore, the talk will provide us a good
opportunity to learn more about her experiences in both scientific
