Dear All,

Neuroscience subgroup of Longwood Scientific Salon (LSS) will have a group discussion on "Synaptic plasticity and Alzheimer's disease". The invited speaker is Dr. Shaomin Li from Dennis Selkoe's laboratory in Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Li obtained his PhD in Dublin University in Ireland and now is an instructor in Brigham and Women's Hospital. He got a solid training in electrophysiology of synaptic plasticity, learning & memory, and neurodegenerative disease. Dr. Li has published more than 20 research articles, including first-author papers in Nature Neuroscience, Neuron and Current Biology.
