曹雪涛教授，中国工程院院士，中国医学科学院院长，北京协和医学院校长。1990年博士毕业于第二军医大学。2005年当选中国工程院院士，2013年当选德国科学院外籍院士。曹教授获奖无数！其长期从事天然免疫与免疫调节基础研究、免疫治疗应用研究。以通讯作者在Cell、Nature、Science、Nature Immunology、Cancer Cell等杂志发表论文230余篇，SCI他引6000余次。

Dr. Xuetao Cao is the current President of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. He received his M.D. degree in 1986 and a Ph.D degree in Immunology 1990 under the mentorship of Dr. Tianxing Ye from the Second Military Medical University in Shanghai, China.  In 1993 he became Professor in Immunology at the Second Military Medical University and the Founder Director of the Institute of Immunology at the same University in 2001.  In 2000 he became the founding Director of the Institute of Immunology at Zhejiang University and in 2006 also became the Director of the National Key Laboratory of Medical Immunology.  Dr. Cao is an elected member of numerous academic societies, such as the Chinese Academy of Engineering, German Academy of Sciences, French Academy of Medicine, EMBO and UK Academy of Medicine. In the past he has served as the President of Chinese Society for Immunology, President of Federation of Immunological Societies in Asia and Oceania (FISMA) and as President of Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases. Dr. Cao is currently the Secretary General of Chinese Society for Immunology, Secretary General of FIMSA, and President of China Union of Life Science Societies.

His research focuses on the understanding of signaling mechanisms in innate immunity and inflammation, identification of cell subsets and new molecules in dendritic cell (DC)-initiated immune response and cancer immunotherapy. His group has functionally characterized 22 novel molecules from DC, and identified DC specific lncRNA lnc-DC. He discovered the role of Tet2 in DC for inflammation resolution, and verified the innate sensors RIG-I, TLR3 as valuable biomarkers in cancer immunotherapy and inflammation-related cancer metastasis.

Dr. Cao has won many awards in recognition of his scientific achievements and dedication to public services as well as his contributions to medical research and education, such as Nature Awards in Mentorship for Science (2015).

曹雪涛，中国工程院院士，中国医学科学院院长，北京协和医学院校长。全球慢性疾病防控联盟前主席、亚太免疫学会联盟秘书长、中国生物工程学会理事长、中国科协生命科学联合体主席。从事天然免疫与炎症基础研究、肿瘤免疫治疗应用研究。创办《中国肿瘤生物治疗杂志》并任主编，Cellular and Molecular Immunology共同主编, 任Cell、Science Translational Medicine, Annual Reviews of Immunology, eLife等编委。以通讯作者在Cell、Nature、Science、Nature Immunology等发表SCI论文236篇。培养的12名博士生获得全国优秀博士论文，获得首届中国研究生教育特等奖（2014）、Nature导师成就奖（2015）、中国科学院陈嘉庚科学奖（2016）。
