Longwood scientific salon by Dr. Jun Ding on Nov 9th

Dear HMS-CSSA members,

Dr. Jun Ding will be giving a seminar in the Longwood Scientific Salon (LSS) about the “Functional organization of neural circuits underlying movement control” on Nov. 9th, Wed 6-7pm.

Dr. Ding will head to Stanford University, and work as an assistant professor very soon. He obtained his Ph.D. from Northwestern University, and now a postdoc fellow in Dr. Bernardo L. Sabatini’s laboratory, Department of Neurobiology, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Ding has achieved remarkably in the field of neuroscience. He had published many first-author papers in Nature Neuroscience, Neuron et al., and recently been awarded NIH K99 grant. Except for neuroscience, Dr. Ding will also talk about his experience in job hunting. So, it would be a great opportunity to meet him and learn about his experiences in both scientific research and career development.
