It provides an interactive platform for Chinese scholars and scientists working and studying at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated institutes and hospitals. Its major goals are to promote career development of Chinese scholars and scientists at the HMS community, to serve as a bridge for better communication between China and the U.S., and also to provide a platform for networking, collaboration and career opportunities among our members.
According to the bylaws of HMS-CSSA, the board member election is held annually. The 2017-2018 HMS-CSSA board will be comprised of up to 17 members. Board members must currently be post-doctoral fellows, visiting scholars, Ph.D./M.D. students or employees who will stay at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated institutes and hospitals for at least 2 years. In addition, up to 15 assistants will also be elected this year.
