Dear HMS-CSSA members,

We are very pleased to announce the new leadership of the HMS-CSSA executive board for 2012- 2013 term. The new board will take the office on July 1st and continue on serving our community.
As a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political organization, HMS-CSSA has been focusing on providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and career development t among our members, hence serving as a bridge for scientific communication between China and US. In the past year, we have organized a serious of scientific/career path talks on monthly basis. We initiated and organized a young scientist delegation and visited some of most privilege institutes in China. We also organized multiple job recruit events for universities, bio-tech companies from both US and China. As our largest event, the 3rd Harvard Chinese life science research symposium went successfully. The meeting attracted lots of young scientists, students, industry managers to participate and communicate. We are willing to continue on all these activities in the coming year and make them into a more systematic manner.

At the end of our term, we feel very deeply attached to this community, to all our members. We would like to take this opportunity to express our appreciation to the community, to our advisors, especially to all of you. Only with your participation, all these effort s become meaningful and worthwhile, only with your help and support, this young organization can move forward and serve our community better. Please continue supporting HMS-CSSA in the coming year.
