Brian Sun has earned a national reputation as a distinguished trial lawyer specializing in complex business litigation and white collar criminal defense. During the course of his 36 years as a practicing lawyer, Mr. Sun has successfully tried cases to verdict in federal and state courts, representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Following his graduation from the University of Southern California Law Center, he clerked for a federal judge and served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. His cases have included representing Dr. Wen Ho Lee in his successful civil suit against the U.S. government, former Clinton fundraiser Johnny Chung, and former Orange County Sheriff Michael Carona. He was named by Lawdragon Magazine in 2005 as one of America’s 500 leading lawyers. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
Brian is a former National Asian Pacific American Bar Association President and is a member of the Committee of 100. He has done significant work in the areas of trade secrets theft and Economic Espionage Act violations involving Chinese Americans and represents PRC-based companies who have been accused of seeking to obtain confidential, proprietary or trade secrets information from U.S.-based competitors.
