Dear HMS-CSSA members,

Our scientific saloon program will hold a seminar on February 2nd (Thursday), 5:30pm-6:30pm, at room 304, smith building, dana-farber cancer institute, 44 binney street, dana-farber, boston, 02115.

The invited speaker is Dr. Min Sup Song from BIDMC. Dr. Song got his Ph.D degree from Graduate School of Biotechnology, Korea University, in the field of Molecular Biology and now working as a research fellow in Dr. Pier Paolo Pandolfi’s lab.

He is a very productive and talented researcher in the field of cancer biology. He has gotten two cell papers and a nature paper published since he joined Dr. Pier Paolo Pandolfi’s lab. The title of his talk is ” Nuclear PTEN regulates the APC-CDH1 tumor-suppressive complex in a phosphatase-independent manner “. It is going to be a great chance to share some of his study and ideas.
