在2018年8月20日举行的年度换届会议上，哈佛医学院华人专家学者联合会（Chinese Scientists and Scholars Association at Harvard Medical School, HMS-CSSA）选出了2019-2020届执行委员会，会议同时选举张彦波博士为会长，李江博士为共同会长，邢立杰博士为秘书长。随后新一届执委会召开了第一次全体成员会议，并与部分卸任执委会成员合影留念。

We are very pleased to announce the new leadership of Chinese Scientists and Scholars Association at Harvard Medical School (HMS-CSSA) members for the 2019-2020 term. Dr. Yanbo Zhang was elected as President, Dr. Jiang Li was elected as Co-President and Dr. Lijie Xing was elected as Secretary-General.

As a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political organization, HMS-CSSA has been focusing on providing a platform for networking, collaboration, and career development among Chinese researchers at Harvard Medical School and its affiliated hospitals and institutes, hence serves as a bridge for scientific communication between China and the US.

In the past year, we have organized over 40 events including the Chinese Life Science Annual Conference, Dean’s Forums, Frontier Symposiums, Scientific Salons, Distinguished Scholar Clubs, Career Path Seminars, and various social events. Currently, our official Wechat account has more than 6,000 followers. As our biggest event, 2019 Harvard Medical School Chinese Life Science (HCLS) Annual Conference has invited 13 outstanding professors and industrial scientists as speakers or panelists to share their recent most exciting works to our community. The conference has attracted more than 500 students, young scientists, and faculties to participate and communicate. We helped organize more than 15 job recruitment events for many prestigious Chinese universities, institutes and pharmaceutical companies, which facilitated many young Chinese scientists to find academic or industrial positions in China.

We sincerely thank Dr. Hong Yue, Dr. Yiming Zhou, and all the past members for their dedication and contribution to HMS-CSSA organization. We also thank our advisors, sponsors and all the Chinese scientists who gave tremendous support and help to HMS-CSSA. With new members on board from now, HMS-CSSA will continue to serve the Chinese research community at Harvard Medical School and organize more events in the coming year. Please continue supporting HMS-CSSA and make our community better!
